First Note - G

• ​The second line G uses no valves!

• ​We call this fingering "open"

• ​Remember to use good posture and to use fast air!

​Note #2 - F

• ​F uses the first valve, the pointer finger

• ​It is in the first space of the treble clef

​Note #3 - E

• The first line E uses not just the first valve, but the second as well

• ​Don't forget to keep your trumpet parallel to the ground!

​Note #4 - D

• ​D uses the first and third valve

• ​This D below the staff requires kicking out the ring finger on the left hand.

​The finale - C

• ​Like G, C is open and requires no valves

• ​Keep your feet firmly on the floor

• ​You can pull the third valve tuning slide back now
