​Six of the same type of plant, of the same size, were planted in the same amount of the same type of soil, in the same room and give the same amount of water each day. The overall health of the plants was monitored each week to determine if/how the type of music played for the plant would impact the overall health and growth of the plant for a six week period. At the end of the six weeks, the plants that listed to classical music were taller by an average of 4.3 centimeters and had an average of 32 more leaves per plant.
