​Apakah kalian tahu tentang ordinal number? Ordinal number merupakan angka yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan urutan atau posisi. Simak penjelasannya berikut ini:

​Terdapat dua jenis angka yang perlu diketahui: cardinal number (bilangan pokok) dan ordinal number (nomor urut atau bilangan bertingkat). Kali ini kita fokus pada ordinal number.

​Ordinal number merupakan angka yang menunjukkan tempat (seperti pertama, kedua, atau ketiga) yang ditempati oleh suatu item dalam urutan yang teratur.

​Ordinal number mempunyai ciri-ciri akhiran seperti st, nd, rd, dan th. Berikut merupakan contoh ordinal number:

1st : first

2nd : second

3rd : third

4th : fourth

5th : fifth

6th : sixth

7th : seventh
