​Gerunds

​Podem ser encontrados em diferentes situações:​

• ​Após verbo to be- presente contínuo! Ex.: Ana is dancing.

• ​Como sujeito- veja que usar um verbo no início de uma oração não pode! Dessa forma é usado o gerúndio Ex.: Dancing is beneficial to your health.

• ​Após alguns verbos como enjoy, hate, admit, mind, miss, suggest, etc.

• ​Após preposições como for, in, of, about. Ex.: Thank you for supporting me.

​She is singing.

​Infinitives

• Podem ser encontrados:

  • ​Após adjetivos. Ex.: It's good to travel sometimes.

  • ​Para indicar propósito. Ex.: I'm going to prove him wrong.

  • ​Após alguns verbos como get, invite, order, allow, want, tell.

  • ​O infinitivo pode vir com e/ou sem to

​They like to sing and dance

​Atenção!!!!

​Os verbos abaixo ​podem ser seguidos tanto de gerúndio como infinitivo em inglês.
