When you receive an RSVP, make sure you respond by the date listed and that you do not bring people unless you are given permission.

3

Be sure to not arrive more than 5 minutes early because the host may be making last minute arrangements.

4

Do not use your cell phone while at the dinner table because it is considered rude. Your phone should be on silent and out of sight.

5

Wait until everyone at your table has been served before you begin eating.

6

When eating, bring the food to your mouth and do not lean down to your food.

7

Do not talk or chew with your mouth open.

8

Do not reach across someone's plate. Ask the closest person to pass whatever you cannot reach.

9

Do not double dip. It is best to put the dip on your own plate rather than dipping your chip into the communal bowl.

10

Take a little food and go back for seconds later after everyone has been served.

11

Respect the traditions of the host. If there is something that you do not agree with or practice, just wait quietly until they are finished. Do not be rude or offensive to anyone.
