Solubility means a solute dissolving in a liquid-
Solids, liquids and gases can dissolve in liquids-
Solubility of solids- The solids dissolving in liquids break
down into smaller particles. Examples are sugar and salt.
Solubility of liquids- The liquids dissolving in a liquid fit in
the small areas of a liquid. Examples are glycerin, milk,
alcholol and vinegar.
Solubility of gases- gases dissolve in water. They instantly mix with water or carbonate or aerate the solute to give its fizz taste. Examples are CO2.
Water is a universal liquid as most of the solute dissolve in water.
