​This tense is used to express routines, habits or real facts.

​RULES - THIRD PERSON - HE-SHE-IT

SINGULAR-AFFIRMATIVE

​-iF THE VERB ENDS IN "ss", "x", "O", "z", "ch" or "sh" we have to add "ES"

​

​For example:

​Sonia DOES her homework.

​

​Stephanie BRUSHES her teeth.

​DO HOMEWORK

​BRUSH HER TEETH

​IF THE VERB ENDS IN "Y":

​BEFORE THE "Y" a consonant, we drop the "y" and write "IES"

​

​Frank STUDIES English every day.

​

​BEFORE THE "y" a vowel, we add just a "s"
