National Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15 and ends on October 15.
This month celebrates the anniversary of independence for five Latin American countries: – Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, and El Salvador.
There are approximately 53 million individuals of Hispanic ancestry in the United States today.
