​Draw a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a picture graph or a bar graph.

What does it mean?

​Students should be able to make picture or bar graphs with up to four categories that represent data. They should also be able to compare the information on the graphs. Lastly students should be able to solve addition and subtraction problems using the data from the graphs.
