    • ​Many words on the STAAR mean the "Same Thing" the test just likes to confuse students sometimes!

      • ​Show- What does the evidence or "Dialogue" from a passage show you about the reader

      • ​Suggest- when the narrator or author "Shows" something without actually saying it. (Thoughts, Dialogue, Feelings, Actions)

      • Reveal- To show or tell something that was hidden

      • Conclude- What I (the reader) thinks after I read.

  • 2nd Person:

    • When they narrator speaks directly too the reader and usually convinces them to do/try something

  • 3rd Person (Objective), Limited (ONLY ONE), Omniscient (EVERYONE)

    • When the narrator is outside of the story and may know a lot about one character or about many characters. ​
