​Pengertian simple future tense

​Mengutip Vocabulary.com, future tense is a verb tense that expresses actions or states in the future.

Future tense adalah sebuah bentuk kata kerja yang mengungkapkan tindakan atau keadaan di masa depan.

Simple Future Tense umumnya menyatakan apa yang belum terjadi dan akan terjadi kemudian.

Kalimat interogatif:

Will + S + infinitive (V1) + O?

Rumus simple future tense

​Kalimat positif:

S + will + infinitive (V1) + O

​Kalimat negatif:

S + will + not + infinitive (V1) + O

​Ketika menggunakan simple future, verb yang digunakan adalah kata kerja bentuk dasar, tidak perlu dibubuhi +s/es.

​Yang perlu diperhatikan adalah:

I will go to school. (Aku akan pergi ke sekolah.)

My father will buy a new car. (Ayahku akan membeli mobil baru.)

Sean is going to watch TV. (Sean akan menonton televisi.)

​Contoh simple future tense kalimat negatif adalah:

(Rose tidak akan menulis surat.)
