​Linear sequence - A number pattern which increases or decreases by the same amount each time. Eg 2, 6, 10, 14, .... follows the rule +4

​Sequence - An ordered set of numbers, shapes or objects arranged according to a rule. Eg 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, .....

​Term - An item in a sequence. Eg 7, 10, 13, ......, 7 is the second term

​Term to term rule - A rule you can use to find out how to get from one term to the next. Eg 7, 10, 13, ......, the term to term rule is +3
