The Hadith:

‘A'isha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was given the choice between two things, he would choose the easier of the two unless it was a sin. If it were a sin, he would be the farthest of people from it.

عن عائشة -رضي الله عنها قالت: ما خُيِّر رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بين أمرين قط إلا أخذ أيسرهما، ما لم يكن إثما، فإن كان إثما، كان أبعد الناس منه

So the believers can worship Him with ease. Allah SW says: "Allah intends for you ease, and does not want to make things difficult for you" [2:185]

Permissibility of Tayammum instead of Wudoo’ in case of no water or du to sickness.

Permissibility of prayer while standing; if he/she cannot stand so let him/ her sit or while lying on one side.

Permissibility of shortening of prayer for a traveler.

Permissibility of breaking fasting in Ramadan for the sick and those who are not able to fast

Group 2

When we speak about Islam being easy, we are, in reality, speaking about the easiness of its acts of worship and morals. However, There are many reasons behind this misunderstanding of the religious obligations.

Some people want 'ease' to mean 'doing nothing', just saying "I am a Muslim", committing themselves to nothing. It is obvious that they want it to be easy, but what exactly do they want? They want an easy life, a life without any religious practices.

For example, Salah, it is an easy act of worship, as Allah, subhanahu wata'aala, has made clear:  "And seek help in patience and prayer and truly it is (prayer) extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un (i.e. true submitting)" [2;45].
