Remember Chinese Characters

​First Tone

​The pitch of the first tone is straight that's why it pitch stays the same. A good way to remember it is imagining that you are going to a dentist and they say "Say 'Aaa' ok?"

​Second Tone

​The second tone sounds similar to someone saying "What?" You start low then high.

​Third Tone

The third tone goes down then up and you just say it like you say horse in chinese.

​Fourth Tone

​The forth tone is the opposite of the second tone. It goes high then low instead of low then high.

​All The Tones

• ​The first tone sounds straight and the same.

• ​The second tone sounds low then high.

• ​The third tone goes high, low, and then high again.

• ​The fourth and last tone goes high then low.
