What is the LCM of 26 and 42?

Step 1 Make a Factor Tree
Take the numbers 37 and 29 and find 2 factors of the number circle the prime factor of the two. Continue doing this until you get down to 2 prime numbers.

Step 2 List the Prime numbers
Take the two numbers that you were trying to figure out, and put them at the bottom of your paper the put the 2 double digit numbers then, list the factors that you circled from least to greatest.

A different way then GCF
Circle the numbers that match. Then, underline the numbers that don't match and multiply those.
