Vivid verbs provide more description for the reader:
She sat in the chair.
She slouched in the chair.
She perched on the chair.
She slumped in the chair.

Change the verbs of this passage to make it better. In other words, rewrite this passage and focus on better verbs.
The young woman opened the door and walked down the steps to the car that sat by the curb. She got into the car, sat in the passenger seat, and looked over at the drive. Then she said one simple phrase: "It's done."
