​Formation of Comparative Adjectives

​There are two ways to make or to "form" a comparative adjective:

​PERSONAL PRONOUNS

​What Are Personal Pronouns?

​

A personal pronoun is a short word we use as a simple substitute for the proper name of a person. Each of the English personal pronouns shows us the grammatical person, gender, number, and case of the noun it replaces. I, you, he, she, it, we they, me, him, her, us, and them are all personal pronouns.

​Where’s the knife? I can’t find it.

​Peter complained to the chef about the meal. She wasn’t very helpful so he spoke to the manager.

(she = the chef, he = Peter)

​Using personal pronouns makes a text more natural.

​

We don’t need to repeat a word if we use its pronoun.

Sarah is my sister. Sarah is a wonderful person.
