How to form the plural?

The plural is formed by adding just -s to any noun.

Of course there are exceptions and for these ones there are rules to follow:

For example:
Nouns ending in 'o'
All nouns ending in 'o' we just add -es to the noun.

potato = potatoes
tomato = tomatoes
hero = heroes

for the following words, which both plurals are correct:
buffalo = buffalos / buffaloes
mosquito = mosquitos / mosquitoes
tornado = tornados / tornadoes

Here is another rule:
Words ending in consonant + 'y'
to pluralize them we change the 'y' by 'v' and then we add +es

party = parties
city = cities
