SOME, ANY, TOO MUCH/MANY, A LOT OF, A LITTLE, A FEW
Function: We use quantifiers to talk about amounts. Some quantifiers go with countable nouns, some go with uncountable nouns, and some go with both.

Large quantities
a lot of / lots of / plenty of - used in positive sentences with singular OR plural nouns
many
- used in negative sentences or questions with plural nouns (girls, books, lessons etc.)much - used in negative sentences or questions with uncountable nouns(water, time, money, information, equipment, furniture etc.)

Small quantities
a little - (meaning: some, a small amount); used with uncountable nouns
little - (meaning: not enough) used with uncountable nouns (milk, rice, )
a few - (meaning: some) used with plural countable nouns
few - (meaning: not enough) used with plural countable nouns (boys)

enough + noun (We have enough time.)
adjective + enough (You don't drive fast enough.)
too + adjective (You're too clever for this position.)

any + noun for a zero quantity with a negative verb (We don't have any French lessons.)
no + noun with a positive verb (They have no patience.)
