Communication provides two types of Messages conveyed by words, the positive and negative.
Negative messages include things such as: refusals, rejects, recalls, announcements of policies that will not benefit the audience, requests the audience will see as insulting or intrusive, negative performance appraisals, disciplinary notices, and apologies (https://www.ivybusiness.iastate.edu/files/2019/02/Delivering-Negative-Messages.pdf)
Positive messages are a type of communication that provides good news, acceptance or congratulations in the workplace. ...
