Types of Government:
A dictatorship is a form of government in which a person rules with almost unlimited power. The ruler is called a dictator.

Theocracy is a form of government headed by religious leaders.
In an oligarchy is power is in the hands of a few people.

A constitutional monarchy is where the king or queen still ruled the country, but the day-to-day government is given to Parliament.
A Democracy is ruled by the people. Citizens can vote directly on laws and rules.
A republic or representative democracy is a form of government in which the people elect, or choose, their leaders.
