​Here's some things my students want you to know about this class:

​

​The basics:

• ​Morton grading policy: Grades are weighted 70% quizzes, 30% daily work

• ​Classes are 80 minutes on an A/B block schedule

• ​Bellringer/Notes & Guided Practice/Independent Practice/Summary

• We see each other 5 times in a two-week period

• Quiz about every 3-4 sections (two weeks or so)

• Students may retake quizzes up to three times, I keep only the highest grade​

• ​Daily work is graded by effort/participation

• ​A student who faithfully does the daily work and makes an effort to prepare for quizzes will have a legit chance to pass the class.

​I use this type of slide presentation for my notes in class.

​

• ​I can give students a link to a self-paced version so they can go back and look at the notes if they have missed class or need to see an example again.
