​A map is a micro drawing that uses symbols to represent a real place on earth.

​A map must contain a set of elements to be correctly understood.

​These elements are:

​Title of the map(Map Title)

​The scale of drawing (Map Scale)

​The key to the map (Map Key)

​The direction of the north. (Compass Rose)

​MAP TITLE

​It is the first thing that should be noted on the map, it gives us the first clue about its content and helps us to understand the subject of the map.

​It usually describes the area shown on the map.

​it also identifies the main topic of the map.

​Characteristics of

Map Title.

​It should be brief.

​It should express the theme of the map.

​It should indicate the name of the region.

​It should clearly show the address.
