Will and Won't

​Function

​- We use will to make affirmative sentences about future prediction.

(will diguna untuk menunjukkan anggaran sesuatu yang akan berlaku pada masa akan datang)

​the short form is 'll

​

- We use will not to make negative sentence. The short form is won't.

​(will not diguna untuk menidakkan sesuatu yg akan berlaku, singkatannya won't)

​Examples

1. Lydia will feel tired after she's done playing.

2. I'll sleep at 11.00pm.

3. ​I won't go there tomorrow.

4. ​Will there be a party? Yes, there will.

5. ​Will it rain today? No, it won't.

6. ​She will not eat spicy food.

​Question forms.

For question sentences(ayat tanya), we use:

​Will + noun/pronoun+ verb

​Example: Will she go to school today?

​

​For answers(ayat jawab) we use:

​Yes/No + noun/pronoun + will/won't

​Example: Yes, she will/No, she won't.
