It is a new month which means new goals. What is one goal you have for November?

Open Ended

Read the poem and identify any poetic elements you find.  As you are working, I will call you up to grade your reading log.

​Objective

​Objective: SWBAT analyze the effect of rhyme scheme, meter, and graphical elements such as punctuation and capitalization in a poem 

​

Language Objective: SWBAT write using newly acquired basic vocabulary and content-based grade-level vocabulary

​

​Vocabulary: rhyme scheme, meter, poetry, graphic elements, capitalization, punctuation

​

​Closing product: Students will submit analysis of elements for "A Bird, came down the walk
