Now that we know about weather, we can learn about seasons! ​

​What is a season?

​A season is when you separate a year by the weather.

Seasons go in the same pattern each year.

​The weather may change, but the seasons are in the same pattern.

​The coldest months of the year. Most plants are dead. There is snow and ice.

​The weather begins cool in March and is warm in May. Plants grow in the ground. There are many flowers.

​The weather is warm in September and turns cool in November. The plants begin to die. Leaves on trees change color before they die.
