** Thêm “es” vào danh từ và động từ tận cùng O, S, X, Z, CH, SH:

​Ex : watch -> watches

​ do -> does

​go -> goes

​** Các trường hợp còn lại, chỉ cần thêm “s”.

​Ex : read -> reads

​play -> plays

​practice -> practices

​** Khi tận cùng của danh từ hoặc động từ là "y", cần đổi "y" thành "i" và thêm "es":

​Ex : fly -> flies

​study -> studies

​- play tennis -> plays tennis

​- read e-mail -> reads e-mail

​- do gymnastics -> does gymnastics

​- study English -> studies English
