A county is a specific region of a state or country. While the United States is made up of 50 states, it also has 3,144 counties.
We live in Raleigh County.

One of the fifty states which is a member of the federation known as the United States of America.
We live in the state of West Virginia.

We live in the United States of America, also known as the U.S. or America.

What is a continent?
one of the earth's seven major areas of land. The continents are Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
We are part of North America. Mexico and Canada are the two other countries that make up North America with the U.S.

What is a planet?
Planets are. large natural objects that orbit, or travel around, stars. Eight planets orbit the star called the Sun. In order from the closest to the Sun, these planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
We live on the planet Earth. Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun.
