​BABUR

​First Mughal emperor

​1494:succeeded throne of Ferghana.

​forced to leave Ferghana because it was captured by Mongol group named Uzbegs.

​After years of wandering he took Kabul in 1504.

​In 1526 he defeated sultan of Delhi, Ibrahim Lodi in THE FIRST WAR OF PANIPAT.

​HUMAYUN

• ​He divided his property according to his father.

• ​Sher Khan defeated Humayun at Chausa(1539) and Kanauj(1540)

• ​in Iran he received help from the king there named Safavid Shah and recaptured Delhi(1555)

• ​But he died next year due to accident in a building.

​AKBAR

• ​Was 13 yrs old when he became emperor.

• ​He allowed religions of all kind

• ​His rules were people friendly

​JAHANGIR

• ​Sisodiya ruler of Mewar accepted Mughal service.

• ​Also known as Prince Salim

​SHAH JAHAN

• ​Also known as Prince Khurram

• ​Built Taj Mahal for his wife

• ​defeated Afghan Noble Khan Jahan.

​AURENGZEB

• ​Really cruel ruling

• ​Killed his own brothers

• ​put his to prison
