​- use when an action is happening right now

​Look at the difference between simple present and present progressive:

​- things that you don't expect will change

​PRESENT PROGRESSIVE:

I'm eating sushi this week. [only this week, it will change]

​- use for temporary or changing actions

She hates apples. [stative verb]

​- stative verbs (love, hate, like, want, know, see, hear, etc.)

Sometimes stative verbs can be used as actions, but the meaning changes!
