SPACES: Subject, Predicate, All the words, Capitals, Ending punctuation, and Spelling.

​Reminders

• ​Read the whole text first.

• ​Read each question and determine what you are being asked.

• ​Go back to the passage if needed.

• ​Read ALL choices before selecting an answer.

• ​Eliminate answers that you know are wrong.

• ​If you have 2 GOOD choices, think carefully about which one is BETTER.

• ​Use substitution if you are determining the meaning of a word.

​Written Response

• ​Read carefully to determine what the question is asking. Don't get confused by extra information.

• ​Write a complete sentence to answer the question, using the key words along with your own words.

• ​CITE TEXT EVIDENCE in a second sentence!!!
