​Verbs

​The verbs in Simple Present describes everyday activities.

​

​Add -s to the verb for he, she and it. Example:

​

She sleeps all the day.

​

​

​Add -es to the verbs that ends in o, sh, ss, zz or x. Example:

​

​He mixes the salad.

Verbs​

​For the verbs that end in -y change the -y to -i and ad es.

​Example:

​Carry

​He carries the package.

​

​When a vowel is before the -y just add -es Example:

​Play

​She plays soccer.

​Simple Present Tense

To form the simple present tense for he, she, it, add s or es to the verb.
