​Factors

​Factors are whole numbers that can be multiplied to get another number.

​For Example:

​The factors of 12 are: 1,2,3,4,6,12

​1 x 12 = 12 (​12 x 1 = 12)

​2 x 6 = 12 (6 x 2 = 12)

3 x 4 = 12 (4 x 3 = 12)

​So, 12 has six factors.
