​Present Perfect

​We use the present perfect when we want to talk about UNFINISHED actions. That is actions that started in the past but continue in the present. In the example: I have studied at UTP for 3 years; I started 3 years ago and today continue to study.

Another example is: We have had classes of English for one week. In this example, we started classes on Monday and continue today.

​The grammatical structure is: have/has + verb (past participle)

Present Perfect

​We can also use the present perfect to talk about our EXPERIENCES. That means that things we have done in the past, we can connect to the present.
