Present Perfect

We use the present perfect when we want to talk about UNFINISHED actions. That is actions that started in the past but continue in the present. In the example: I have studied at UTP for 3 years; I started 3 years ago and today continue to study.

Another example is: We have had classes of English for one week. In this example, we started classes on Monday and continue today.

The grammatical structure is: have/has + verb (past participle)
