How to compare things
Short adjectives (one syllable): add -er to the adjective. Examples: big - bigger; small - smaller; cold - colder; hot - hotter.
Long adjectives (two or more syllables): more + adjective. Examples: interesting- more interesting; expensive - more expensive; dangerous - more dangerous

How to compare things
Irregular comparatives: good - better; bad - worse.
Don't forget to use 'than' when making a comparison!
Examples: Belo Horizonte is bigger than Betim; A Ferrari is more expensive than a Fiat Palio.
