​Integers

​These are the numbers in the set of natural numbers (counting) and their opposites, including 0.

​Example:

​..., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...

​The ellipsis (or the 3 dots ...) tells us that there are more numbers in both directions. As it goes to the right the number gets bigger and bigger and as it goes to the left, the number gets smaller.
