Electromagnetic waves are similar with light waves. It is created by vibrations between electric field and magnetic field. The speed of electromagnetic waves are always same as the speed of light (300,000km/sec, can orbit around Earth seven and a half times in one second.

What are electromagnetic waves?

This is about how much energy can an EM wave can carry. The product of the wavelength and the energy is always the speed of light.

Energy

Frequency means how often same things happen, and wavelength ​means how long two sets of electromagnetic waves and magnetic waves are. The product of the frequency and wavelength is always the speed of light.

For someone who might not understand, it means halve wavelength, double frequency and energy.

(One-third wavelength, triple frequency and energy, one-fourth frequency and energy, 4 times wavelength)​

There are seven types of them. They are radio, microwave, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, X-ray, and gamma.
