Adjectives

​Adjectives are words that describe a noun.

Examples of adjectives that we will use today:

Comparative Adjectives

​We use comparative adjectives to compare two people, places, or things.

​

​Examples:

​Istanbul is bigger that Barcelona.

​

Abu Dhabi is hotter than Amsterdam. ​

Rule: One-syllable adjectives -add -er.

Rule: One-syllable ending in one vowel and one consonant - double the consonant and add -er.
