​Mount Rushmore is a famous granite mountain in South Dakota. Huge faces of four United States presidents have been carved in the side of this mountain.

It forms from the shells and bones of sea animals. The shells and bones break apart after the animal die. When pressed together, the bits os shell and bone form limestone.
