The Communicative purpose of descriptive text is to describe a particular persons, places, and things.

Generic Structure of Descriptive

• Identification : Introducing where or who is the subject is being  describe.

• ​Description : describe part qualities, and characteristic or the supporting part of the paragraph to describe the in detail to assist the reader to “see and fell” the subject. E.g. the qualities, appearance, uses, habits, etc.

Gunung Kerinci

•The Mount of Kerinci is located in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. Mount Kerinci is famous for the highest mountain on the island of Sumatra with an altitude of 3.805 m. Mount Kerinci is the highest active volcano in Southeast Asia. And even towering over Mount Fuji in Japan. The natural scenery proves that this is one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia. The best time to visit the park is during the dry season.
