Daur hidup hewan adalah tahap perkembangan hewan sejak menetas atau lahir sampai dewasa.

Daur hidup hewan dibagi menjadi dua yaitu:

1. Daur hidup hewan sempurna

2. Daur hidup hewan tidak sempurna​

Daur hidup hewan sempurna adalah perubahan bentuk hewan sebelum dewasa dan sesudah dewasa yang sama sekali berbeda
