Welcome, Bienvenidos a la clase!

My name is Danielle Banks and I have been teaching Spanish for 17 years! I learned Spanish in college after studying it for 8 years. I live in Connecticut with my husband and our two dogs, Zelle and Marley. Zelle is a rescue dog from Puerto Rico and Marley is a Mini Australian Shepherd. I grew up playing sports (basketball and volleyball) and both coached and refereed the sport for many years! I enjoy baking, cooking, the summer, and watching and playing sports!

​Ir + a + place + para + verb

To tell where someone is going and what they're going to do there we use a conjugated form of ir + the place + the infinitive that explains what they're doing there.

ex: yo voy al cina para ver una pelicula.
