You are working at a fast food restaurant today. You must take the customer's order, perform the "cooking", and hand the bag to the customer through the window.
You must complete with 80% or better to pass training and keep your job. Good luck!
Step 1: Take the order and input in the computer.
(write the order as an expression)
Step 2: Pull the food from the freezer and begin cooking.
(distribute, which means multiply)
Step 3: Bag the food and give to customer.
(the final, simplified product)

Write the order as an expression with the number of orders on the outside of the parentheses and the variables for the order inside the parentheses.

Step 1:
Multiply the number outside the parentheses by EVERYTHING inside the parentheses.

Step 2:
Rewrite the expression as a SUM of the whole order. The simplified product.
