​​bilangan cacah adalah himpunan bilangan bulat yang nilainya tidak negatif yaitu 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… dst. Anggota bilangan ini didefinisikan sebagai himpunan bilangan asli yaitu 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 … dst di tambah 0. Ciri utama dari bilangan cacah adalah nilainya selalu positif dan memiliki angka 0.
