Dinosaurs​

Dinosaurs are animals that dominated the world for over 100,000 million years ago. They are all reptiles and all prehistoric animals. We can still see fossils of these dinosaurs. We can see them in museums. Dinosaurs lived all over the continents including Antarctica!

Fun Fact:

The first dinosaur skeleton to be found was found by Gideon Mantell and was later named "Iguanodon.​

History​

Prehistoric: No longer seen and dead

​The name of this dinosaur is the Diplodocus. It is a herbivore. It has the longest neck and tail. It has tiny spikes on its back. It's a sauropod.

Fun Fact:

Did you know that the Diplodocus was one​of the slowest dinosaur of all, just like a Brachiosaurus?

The name of this dinosaur is the Allosaurus. It is a carnivore. It walks on 2 legs.

The name of this dinosaur is the Tyrannosaurus Rex. It is the king of the dinosaurs. It walked on 2 legs and was a carnivore.

The name Tyrannosaurus Rex, meaning "Giant King Lizard"​

No dinosaurs have been bigger than our endangered sea mammal which is the biggest endangered animal, Blue Whale.
