Follow the order of operations to calculate a number sentence (with 1 bracket) involving two or more operations. (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division)

In order to solve mixed operations, remember, we must follow the rules.

• What can you see?

• The operation involve 1 bracket.

• By following the BODMAS / PEMDAS Rule,

  • First, We solve Bracket /Parenthesis

  • Second, we solve the Order / Exponents

  • Third, we solve multiplication and/or division from left to right

  • Last, we solve addition and/or subtraction from left to right

• There is a bracket! So we solve the bracket first.​
