YOU CAN BUY AND CHOOSE KINDS OF BOOKS YOU NEED
When we talk and write about past events we are giving a recount. There are three parts of a recount text.
1. Orientation Orientation explains what, when, where, who, etc happening in the passage at the beginning
2. Event Event explains a series of happenings in the passage from the beginning until the end
3. Reorientation Reorientation describes what happens in the end of the story or conclusion of the story.

On Friday I went to Mount Bromo. It is one of the mountains Iwant to see very much. It is near Probolinggo. That is why I stayed at Nida and Hasan's house at Cemara Lawang, Probolinggo. Penjelasan : - main idea adalah ide pokok (gagasan utama) dalam suatu paragraf. - main idea dapat diletakkan di depan, tengah atau akhir paragraf.
Contoh : Main idea pada paragraf di atas terdapat di awal paragraf yaitu : " On Friday I went to Mount Bromo".

EVENTS (Supporting Detail)
Supporting details merupakan kalimat penjelas dari kalimat utama dalam suatu paragraf.
Perhatikan contoh berikut : Read this text below carefully !
Sally and Mrs. Indra planned to prepare their dinner and went to the market. First, Sally and Mrs. Indra went to the grocers to buy butter, cheese, and some other things to make cakes. After that then went to buy meat and fish for their meal. Next, they went to the green grocers to buy fruits and vegetables and finally, they went to the florist to buy some flowers.

Yang memberi penjelasan pada kalimat sebelumnya yaitu:

One Friday morning, Ms. Indah went to market. She wanted to buy chicken and eggs. At the market, she met a lot of people from the village near her house. They sold vegetables, eggs, chicken, sheep, cow, and other merchandises. Ms. Indah bought two whole chicken and two kilograms of eggs. She didn’t buy vegetables because she could buy them every day from the vendors in her neighbourhood. So she was only half an hour shopping at the market. Then, she took a paddy cab home with her shopping goods.

Informasi faktual : Informasi yang berasal dari kejadian sebenarnya dalam suatu paragraf.
Perhatikan text berikut.
A Traffic Accident
There was a traffic accident in front of my house yesterday. 1) It happened at about three of clock in the afternoon. 2) It was between a bus and a motorcycle. I was playing in the yard, and I saw a bus coming from the west. The bus was very fast. Suddenly a motorcycle crossed the road. The bus driver did not have time to stop his bus and the accident happened. The bus driver got off the bus. He wanted to help the motorist. The motorist was injured. She could not walk. A few minutes later two policemen came.
Kalimat yang digarisbawahi di atas merupakan informasi faktual karena memberi kejelasan pada kalimat sebelumnya.
Contoh : Fakta 1). It happened at about three o’clock..... dan 2). It was between a bus and a motorcycle, menjelasakan kalimat “there was a traffic accident in front of my house”.
