​1. Hỏi đáp về diễn biến câu truyện xảy ra thế nào

​What happened in the story?​

First (Đầu tiên), Then (Sau đó), Next (Tiếp theo), In the end (Cuối cùng)

Ex:

First, the fox asked, "Can you give me some meat?"

​

Then, the fox asked, "Can you dance?". The crow shook its head.

​

Next, the fox asked, "Can you sing?" "Yes,..." the crow opened his beak and said.

​

In the end, the fox picked up the meat and said, "Ha ha!".

2. Sử dụng tính từ so sánh hơn (tính từ ngắn)

a)  Cách thành lập tính từ so sánh hơn:

​short adjective (adj)-er

Ex: short ->  shorter

Tham is shorter.

​tall => taller

My brother is taller.

​b)  Cấu trúc so sánh hơn:

S + V + short adj-er + than + N/Pronoun.

Ex: She is taller than me.

​c) Một số quy tắc thêm đuôi -er vào sau tính từ

1)  Tính từ ngắn tận cùng bằng e thì ta chỉ cần thêm -r tính từ ngắn tính từ so sánh hơn

Ex: late => later

2)  Tính từ có hai âm tiết tận cùng bằng phụ âm y thì đổi y thành i và thêm -er.                                   

Ex: happy  ->    happier

3)  Tính từ có một âm tiết tận cùng bàng phụ âm (trừ w) mà phía trước là nguyên âm thì ta gấp đôi phụ âm rồi mới thêm -er.

Ex: big     ->     bigger

      new  ->     newer

You are taller.

​Today is hotter.​

4) 1 số tính từ so sánh hơn các em cần lưu ý​

​ good/ well⇒ better bad/badly⇒ worse

little⇒ less

• many/ much⇒ more

• hard (trạng từ)⇒ harder

• fast (trạng từ)⇒ faster⇒ the fastest

• far⇒ farther/ further

​4. Hỏi đáp về ai đó nghĩ gì về nhân vạt nào đó trong truyện

What do you think of...?

​

I think he/she/it + is + ...

​

Ex: What kinds of stories do you like?

​

I like The story of Mai An Tiem.

​

What do you think of Mai An Tiem?

​

I think he is hard-working.
