SUbject Predicate Participle

Basic Rule= In a sentence, only ONE SUBJECT, ONE PREDICATE (VERB).

The men go to the office. (subjekj=men, pred.=go)

The book it is expensive (double subject)

The book is expensive makes me uninterested. (double verb)

Yet, be careful of present/past participle.

Present/past participle BUKAN kata kerja, walaupun bentuknya memakai –ING dan V3/ed. Jadi, jangan dianggap sebagai grammar yang salah (double verb) jika ada participle di dalamnya.

The sentenceis correct, because crying is NOT A VERB

The girl studying is falling asleep. (S= girl, P= is falling asleep). Studying is not a verb, so it is correct (NOT double verb)
