WHAT IS AN ADVERB?
AN ADVERB IS A WORD THAT MODIFIES A VERB, ADJECTIVE OR ANOTHER ADVERB.
An adverb that modifies a verb usually answer one of five questions:
WHEN? Adverb of time
WHERE? Adverb of place
HOW? Adverb of manner
HOW OFTEN? Adverb of frequency
TO WHAT EXTENT? Adverb of degree
